In December 2014, a New International Standard for Hospitality premises, massive gatherings’ organisers and hotels’ certification was published with copyright by Swiss Approval.

On April 2020, due to the Corona Virus COVID19 Pandemic status, the standard was revised, and a new section related to the Infectious Diseases was included. The New Certificate name was defined as B&W CERT.

The recent pandemic of Covid-19, a non-foodborne communicable disease, of inter-human transmission (by excretions), particularly transmitted in close, crowded areas, has to be faced by additional to HACCP preventive measures, to secure customers health safety in any kind of mass catering establishments.

HSTAR – Hotels Classification

Since 2007, our experts have implemented the new classification system for Hotels and Pensions – Rooms to let, on behalf of National Authorities and a strong experience has been acquired in terms of hospitality premises’ classification, aiming at an international qualification and approval, related to the level of services delivered by Hospitality enterprises.
