Swiss Approval performing as pioneer in the Certification Sector, announces the provision of auditing and certification services for wellness Centers and SPAs, in accordance with the specified ISO 17679:2016 which establishes the service requirements for the main supporting processes and quality of service to the client.

ISO 17679:2016 can be used by all types and sizes of wellness spas even if it is part of another activity (e.g. accommodation facilities, fitness centers and hospitals). The standard does not include any accommodation or food and beverage requirements and does not apply to medical spas and thalassotherapy centers.

This certification program can be combined with the special certification programs of Swiss Approval for sensitive guests’ safety in the hospitality sector.
